Indiana Events
The State of Indiana, Family & Social Services Administration - Division of Mental & Addiction, funds a number of training events designed to increase the number of credentialed problem gambling counselors in Indiana. There is no charge to Indiana residents who attend these workshops. Individuals seeking to expand their knowledge of problem gambling are also welcome to attend if space is available. Regional Events
In 2007 the Midcentral Alliance on Problem Gambling was established. This organization brings together organizations in eight states to work collectively on the issue of problem gambling. Each year in late September or early October, this organization hosts a two day conference on problem gambling. This event is the Midcental Conference on Problem Gambling. Members of the Alliance and other NCPG affiliates receive a reduced conference registration fee.

National Events

The National Center for Responsible Gaming, the Institute for Research on Gambling Disorders and the American Gaming Association (AGA) work together to develop programs that increase awareness about gambling disorders and promote responsible gaming.
